Isaiah 40:8 - Grass withers flowers fade, but the word of our God will stand forever - Scripture Jewelry - Christian Jewelry, Faith Necklace
In the perennial seasons of life, it is a comfort that we can stand on the word of God. It never comes back void and is something we can trust in. This piece was inspired by Isaiah 40:8, "Grass withers, flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever." I have carefully placed blades of grass, and flower blossoms in the rectangle pendant and preserved them in layers and layers of resin. Each layer takes 24 hours to cure and is added toothpick drop by toothpick drop. The pendant measures 1" in height and 1/2" in width and is 24k plated gold. The pendant is attached to an 18" antique gold chain with sturdy lobster clasp. The chain metal base is cadmium and lead free brass and then plated with an antique gold finish.
